Lotus flower is revered flower in part of Asia. The flower is used for offering to the God in some part of Southeast Asia. However, in Southeast of Myanmar, people who live in Inle lake discovered the use of lotus flower stems. They pull the fiber out from the stem of lotus flower and use it for weaving.
