Synopsis

Nesma, a young girl from the remote Siwa Oasis, dared to dream the impossible. Despite the odds stacked against her as a woman from a conservative community where girls often marry after middle school, she yearned to become the first female doctor from her small town. But Nesma's ambition did not stop there. She knew that her dream was not just about completing her education, but about breaking barriers and blazing a trail for others. Her father, Professor Youssef Darbash, was her greatest supporter and together they worked towards her goal. And with the love and support of her fiancé and husband, Mr. Gamal, Nesma's dream became a reality.

Director's Statement

I am in awe of dreamers like Nesma. They remind us that the greatest achievements in history are born from the boldest dreams. And I firmly believe that every change in this world begins with a dream. I also believe in the power of women. Regardless of their background, color, or religion, women are the secret and magic of life. A man and a woman, when united in their dreams, can accomplish anything. Nesma is a shining example of this, and I take great pride in her story.
