Synopsis

The story is about a man named Hanganand who lives in a village called Kerabari. He is curious about a historical myth called Mundhum, which involves the killing of a tiger by a man named Namsami and the creation of a Chyabrung from the tiger's skin. Hanganand researches this subject and goes to a wedding ceremony in a village called Faktalung to collect more information. While there, he is confronted by an illusion of his deceased brother, Birdhoj, who had been killed while serving in the Indian Army. In the fantasy, Birdhoj turns into a tiger and attacks Hanganand, who kills him. After the illusion, Hanganand's brother and sister-in-law give him a Chyabrung as a gift, and he returns to Kerabari to celebrate Yakwa Tangnam with fanfare.
