Prakash

Deep in the heart of the Nepalese mountains, a young boy named Prakash dreams of a better future. Despite his remote village's economic hardships and limitations, Prakash has always had a passion for learning. From a young age, he devoured books and spent hours studying, determined to become a teacher in a government school. But his path to success is a challenging one. With limited resources and few opportunities in his village, Prakash must fight against the odds to achieve his dream. He faces financial difficulties and has to balance working to support his family with his studies, but he never gives up. Prakash's determination and hard work pay off when he finally earns a scholarship to attend college, and he becomes the first person in his village to graduate with a degree. Prakash sets out to make a difference in the world with his newfound education, determined to bring the gift of knowledge to the next generation and inspire them to chase their dreams, just like he did.

Since 2008 I have been trying to narrate a different story, and I have. When I first heard the story of ' Prakash,' it blew my mind. In a remote western village in Nepal, the political impact was such that I could not imagine. A boy aims to become a government school teacher but faces numerous unnecessary obstacles from a local politician for the sake of policies. He lost his family and himself. I cannot describe it in words. How painful life they live every day, and everything is uncertain, and the story influences me so much it makes me come out and tell as loud as possible. The story's voice, the world of the story, words, and sound give me a different experience that I have never seen in this part of the world before. Eventually, I will be living in the same country.
