Remnants of War

Sabita, a 24 years old young woman from a conflict-stricken interior of Nepal, had been devoutly waiting for her beloved, who had dived into the frenzy of revolution. When her beloved suddenly returns due to injury, she senses that he has changed, and both try to maintain a cloak of emotional frigidness towards one another. The frigidness finally breaks down when an army troop comes the following day to inspect Sabita on suspicion of harboring a revolutionary. Both share a warm but tragic embrace.
