Director's Statement
In my village, most girls are forced to marry very early. When they get married, they always have to give up their dreams and ambitions as they will be busy with household chores and bearing children. As a young girl growing up in such a culture, I sometimes felt the subconscious pressure of getting married, making me question my individuality. In my community, marriage is a game played by two people. If the two players want to avoid playing the game further, society always compels them to stay together. And they only have other choices. In this film, innocent and curious children reflect society.
