Zhang Chi, born in 1987 in Ningbo, Zhejiang, is an independent director. He holds a master’s degree in Communication from the University of Nottingham and is the founder of the “Not-So-Great Film Workshop.” His main works in narrative filmmaking include: • **2021** *Annular Eclipse* (96”), which had its world premiere in the A Window on Asian Cinema section at the Busan International Film Festival, was selected for the Surprise Screening section at the FIRST Chengdu Surprise Film Festival, and was exclusively released on iQIYI in 2022. • **2018** *In Search of Echo* (112”), which was shortlisted for the main competition at the Moscow International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize. • **2016** *Edge of Suspect*(65”), which was selected for the main competition of feature films at the 10th FIRST Youth Film Festival and won the iQIYI Annual Outstanding Work Award.
