Home is not a Place

Lhakpa Choedon Lama is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist from Nar, Manang. She works across art direction, production design, and writing, often drawing from her Himalayan background. She is currently developing her practice toward visual anthropology, exploring how film can serve as both creative expression and ethnographic inquiry. Home Is Not a Place is her first documentary project and marks an important step in her ongoing exploration of storytelling as both personal reckoning and ideally, a social intervention.
