Synopsis

A talented pianist and his 8-year-old son struggle to find a place to sell vegetables at the biggest market in Moldova's 2000'. When the father seems to give up under the burden of his precarious existence, a gesture from his son brings new hope.

Director

Film director and producer based in Republic of Moldova. Studied Filmmaking at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts from Chisinau. Head of VOLT Cinematography – film production and post-production services studio. Known for the short films „SIGH” and “Place under the sun” (Shanghai IFF, Sarajevo FF, Busan ISFF, Cottbus FF); and the Moldovan-American series "Lost in Moldova" (LA Shorts, Seriencamp, Berlin Webfest). Alumnus of Sarajevo Talents, Vilnius Talents and MIDPOINT Shorts.
