Synopsis

Five years ago, my sister had a dream where I turned into a monkey. Now I brought her dream to the screen using AI and a video game. By embracing the glitches and letting the software unravel in a dream-like logic, the film explores what happens when someone you love transforms into someone unfamiliar. Ooh Ooh Ah Ah!

Fabio Thieme

Director

Fabio Thieme is an auteur filmmaker and director for film & theater. He completed studies in Rome and Berlin and is now studying directing at the HfS Ernst Busch Berlin. His films, which he also produced himself with his film production „Serkalo“, received awards at international film festivals. His work often deals with pretense, imitation and forgery as an act of creation.
