Synopsis

A boy aged 10 who's afraid of river always crosses the river with the help of his sister. One day his sister elopes with her lover and Suresh embarks on a journey in search of his sister and sees his sister getting married to a guy in another village. After that Suresh forces himself to cross the river without fear for the sake of learning from his sister.

Director

Born in Nepal, Arbin Rai developed a keen interest in storytelling through various mediums before gravitating towards filmmaking. After completing formal education in film studies at Oscar International College, Arbin Rai honed his skills by working on independent projects and collaborating with fellow filmmakers. As a Filmmaker, his passion is to represent authentic Nepali voice and his films explore themes that include family ties, social issues and coming of age. He is currently developing his new short film project CHAHANA and BEFORE MELANCHOLY GOOD BYE.
