Synopsis

The film follows a young Hong Kong man who travels to Xizang to launch a “Mobile Photo Studio” public service initiative, taking free photos for local herders and using photography to build a bridge for emotional communication. During his journey across the Tibetan Plateau, he experiences self-discovery and personal growth. With a warm and delicate perspective, the film showcases the human and cultural landscape of the plateau, combining documentary authenticity with deep emotional resonance, winning multiple awards in the documentary field.

Guo Yifei

Director

Guo Yifei, a documentary director, who once resided at Germany for 3 years and worked at Xizang for 20 years. He was the first chief director at Xizang TV, the producer of the program At Xizang, chief director - Walk at Cloud - Riding 318, the fist reality show of high-altitude riding in China. Many of his works have gained accolades: New Looks of the Ancient Town, "Jinpeng Prize" of the Excellent TV Program in Chinese National Language 2013; Sakya of a Thousand Years, third prize of the category of humanity and nature, the 9th International Selection Conference for Chinese Documentaries 2014; The Most Beautiful Imprints in 50 Years, first prize for Xizang news 2015-2016.
