On the occasion of the closing ceremony of the 6th Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) 2023 and in presence of the Honorable Minister of Culture, Tourism and CIvil Aviation MR Sudan Kirati, the festival announced its 17 awards’ lineup. The film from Bangladesh “Memories of Gloomy Monsoons”, directed by Khandakar Sumon, and the film from Nepal “Butterfly On The Windowpane” , directed by Sujit Bidari, received the most prestigious Gautam Buddha Award and Best National Feature Films Award respectively.
