Nepal International Film Festival to be held in March 2023

Kathmandu, Nepal – January 25, 2023 – Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) is proud to announce that the 6th edition of the festival will be held from March 16-20, 2023. The festival will feature an exciting lineup of films from around the world, alongside a selection of engaging and meaningful discourses.

At NIFF 2023, 95 films from 35 countries have been selected from over 500 entries from 55 countries. The festival will feature seven competitions of national and international features, shorts, and documentary films, and 14 awards will be distributed among the winners across all categories.

In addition to competitive film screenings, the festival will include various workshops, interactions, and discussion programs with notable figures in the film industry. These programs aim to provide a platform for the development and growth of Nepali cinema.

This year, festival screenings will take place at the QFX Cinema venues Chaya Center and Civil Mall in Kathmandu, Labim Mall in Lalitpur, and QFX Bhaktapur in partnership with QFX Cinemas.

NIFF 2023 Organizing team looks forward to the support of the media sector and the participation of film enthusiasts from around the world in the successful completion of the festival.
